I ready an article on how to create and author a dvd using existing MPEG1(VCD) files and onto a DVD, possibly get about 20 - 22min episodes on a DVD. Well the first problem I run into is that with Svcd2dvdmpg it still on some of the mpegs during the writing of the wav file and I have to skip it, then when it is done go back and extract the wav file out of those, turn to 48K, then to a .mpa. the real problem lies in when I have to author the dvd, I tried using Dvdlab, but it doesn't like the .m2v files, saying they are the wrong size. I even tried dvdauthor 0.6 being freeware. this was working, but on about half of the movies it would not do the whole episode and the audio was off.
Anyone have a fool proof plan?
