Just created an svcd of my aliens copy using dvd2svcd with 4pass vbr method. The result was 3 bin and cue files.
I wanted to extract the mpeg from the bin with isobuster but i get this warning

"The primary volume descriptor is unreadable. Read error at address 16. Device reported error 05/63/00."

So i try to delete all the files as its obviously cocked up somewhere but i then get this warning.

"Cannot delete CD_Image_file_CD1:The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable."

What is going on here? When the svcd process was completed i noticed my pc had gone onto PIO mode, this might have a bearing but how do i delete this file now??

    Please help.

  2. the only thing i can think of to fix this is to run scandisk to check your hard drive for bad sectors.
    also, defragment your hard drive....

    *shrug* i dunno.

  4. Try pressing shift-delete when the file is highlighted. Otherwise, might a shedder like CyberShredder work?

You could probably delete it from DOS if all else fails.

  5. Ive also seen it as a simple... restart your PC and then try deleting

  6. If you are runing XP it could be the same bug that stops you deleting corrupt AVI files.

  7. Start up in safe-mode, go through DOS command prompt and delete it. I had something similar happen to me like a year ago, i dont remember the proper command to delete the file. i think its RM (FILE), but im not sure.
That's only if you absotively posolutely can't delete through the windows gui.
