  1. how do you dubbed a movie... I want to dub a movie in a different language to english. Its for personal use, ... basically me and my freind want to do sometime to kill some time.. learn how to use video editing programs and dubbin a movie..

What program do i used? hardware i might need?

we have adobe premiere and soundforge

well, I could change the sound track in premiere and add in my own sound track.. But that would take some time.. for us to record our voice in and replacing the old track and our voice doesn't really match with the mouth of the character.. is there an easier way to dub a movie?

    thank you for any sugeestion

nope, you've pretty much nailed it - get your video into an editable state (avi), import it into premiere, add another audio track, press record and fire up your microphone.

    then mix, mix, mix.

  3. Why do you think all those HK action flicks that are dubbed have voices that don't match up Personally I wouldn't worry about lip sync, yeah it looks 'weird' but forcing it sounds even worst (people speed up/slow down as they talk and from scence to scence).

You can try to seperate the back ground audio from the vocals, but I've never personally had much luck with this ...

  4. It is hard to record over the speakers orginal voices.
Is there a way to remove the voices and keep the background music and sound. so i could just add in my own voice and still used the orginal background sound and music

  5. I think that either Sound Forge or Adobe Audition has a "Voice Cut" option.
