  1. I would like to remove 'cuss' words from the audio portion of ripped dvds before reauthoring them. I currently use DVDSHRINK and NERO to backup my dvds. I usually only backup the main movie and 5.1 audio (sometimes the director's commentary 2 channel).

  2. Use VOBEdit->Demux to seperate the video and audio streams then use Goldwave,etc to silence the parts you want.You can re-author with IFOEdit or DVDLab.
    WARNING:This will be a long and tedious process,I recommend that you use 2ch AC3.

    Another option would be to re author the dvd on say dvd author and edit out that exact frame or so where the words are spoken. This would require you to know the exact moment when the person cusses. The result would be a slight video change of the scene, but not too much if u get it right on. On the plus side is that it wont take too long to do.
