  1. mp3's have been out for along time now and good in all but there not 5 or 6.1 witch defeets the purpose of having a good sound system!

    i have a Panasonic F65 dvd player witch works nice for movies but dosn't except dvd mp3? it takes mp3 cd's but yet again it isn't 5.1!

    is there anyway i can convert my mp3's to another format that will play in my player on a dvd-r ????? i herd alot of diffrent formats but know nonthin about then *.aac, *.VBR, *.MP4

    i think it sayed my dvd player playes vbr's

    What can i do and or try

    Unless your audio files started out life as 5.1, it really does no good to convert them to any format that supports 5.1, as they will never be true 5.1, only stereo...
