Can someone identify this error message

I'm getting this error message when I load an AVI into TMPGnc, but haven't a clue why.

I get a feeling I'm missing some piece of software because the app will open other files.

Er, I don't think so ... imagine if life were so simple that we could just hit Google and go with the first hit... then we'd not need a site like this one, would we now.. . But you can go ahead and fdisk your drive if you like

Well I guess you should not have asked in the first place....

That url didnt help at all,the error you got is just a random glitch in tmpgenc.
