I have used the tried and true method of turning dvds to vcds for a couple of years on my old computer. I would rip the dvd, run it through DVD2AVI then put the file into TMPGEnc. I built a new system, and TMPGEnc works beautifully, but will not accept the .d2v file. Yes, I do have the necessary file for TMPGEnc to read them and I have changed the Enviromental settings. Any ideas? Any other programs I can use, that give similar quality. I have used DVDX and it's terrible! Help!
