    what's the best way? the wmv file is 640x480, bitrate 891kbs, for some reason I can't fast forward with this wmv...it's 170mb...

    you can use TMPGEnc. make sure when you open a file, select Files of type: "All files(*.*)". also make sure you have the windows media codecs installed. if you can play it, you have the codes installed. hope this helps.
