i tried using v1.2j, v1.2a and everytime i try to open up a file as a source i get either
"invalid floating point operation"
or
"illegal floating decimal point calculation order"
i've converted stuff before by following those guides and they all worked fine but now i can't even open the source file to convert.
any help?

Hi. I've found this to do the trick. In TMPGEnc, try going to: Option->Enviromental Settings->VFAPI plugin. Select the line 'Direct Show Multimedia File Reader' and right click on it and select Higher Priority. Take it up to 1 or 2. See if that works. Good luck!
