A dead giveaway is that the remote is missing the HDD/DVD drive selection buttons (like the E80H has). What a fraud this guy is.

seller has revised listing description. I suspect he is not trying to scam anyone.
God Bless -
He probably bought it at www.walmart.com -- seriously!
I had a friend who was looking into DVD Recorders and asked me about the E60 and all of it's features, hwe mentioned 8.5GB Double-0SIded Disc capacity the Hard Drive and everything else this guy had in his auction, likewise the price he gave me from Wal*Mart opnline was VERY SIMILAR if not IDENTICAL to what this guy is selling!
My guess is he ripped his information off of the Wal*Mart website which is loaded with misinformation on this unit (according to Wal*Mart's site the E60 DOES DO evrything this guy mentioned in the initial report!) and then decided to sell it on eBay only to realize.. he didn't get what he was expecting!
Case in point: INSPECT YOUR RECORDER, RESEARCH YOUR ERECORDER and KNOW WHAT YOUR BUYING before you plunk down your cash!
My guess is that Panasonic PLANNED a lot more than they offered and a few retailers got BS descriptions for the E60 and then people picked them up, opened them and sold them after, say two uses to make sure they worked, and now there are a bunch of bogus specs floating around.
Face it, Panasopnic hasn't been too good with keeping on top of retailer errors on their merchandise, I had to call them BEFORE I bought my HS2 to make sure it wa what I wanted back in 2002, and I'd say this guy had a similar dillemma, except he accidently got the same misinformation Wal*Mart online uses for said recorder.
Unless Panasonic has REALLY ALTERED the E60, this is just a pure list of errors that PROBABLY was meant for the E80 or another Panny unit, I've seen the E60 with E80 specs a few times myself, makes me wonder if they really DID change it. -

"ohh ok. I actually did write the description wrong.
thanks"
I guess you guys ... are bugging him ... he sent me an email ... asking me to delete this post. I told him I can't delete it but I can edit it.
He was polite in asking me. So ... what info was here is now gone. -
Lots of people buy them thinking they can copy commerical dvds, but they can't so they take them back to the store.
