Why Do So Many People Hate Nero?

No problems here. Using 5.5.10.20 and 5.5.10.54 just fine.

I'm talking about Nero Version 6. Perhaps the revision log in its website tells the story. I got various problems burnig DVD in Version 6 with NEC ND-1300A. Not until version 6.0.0.28 the software became stable. In other words, Ahead took a couple of months since the first release of version 6 before it can deliver a software that does what it is supposed to do - burning DVD. What level of quality they are delivering.
Remember Nero 6 is not cheap.

The other thing I hate Nero is that starting from Version 6, it bundles a lot of software/features that not everyone need. Once I install the Pack 2, Showtime took over my WMP w/o asking I like it or not. How does it different from nasty spyware

Funny you should say that, because whenever I burn a DVD with anything other than Nero, every set top player I put those discs into the whole player just explodes like a fragmentation grenade.
