I wonder if anyone can help me? Each time I encode using TMPGenc the video and audio to MPEG it is always out of synch. Apparently this needs to be done separately otherwise u get no audio at all. With divx files I never seem to have this problem only with XVID files. Having said that playing back the movie on my pc the audio is fine.
I really don't know where to turn next. I have tried saving the in VIRTUALDUB (Full Processing) also (Direct Stream) to see if that would make any difference. After I encode them with TMPGenc I then "Wimply Multiplex" them and it is when I play them back I realise they are way OUT!
I would be most grateful if someone could point me in the right direction so I can finally get these encoded authored and on to dvd the fps by the way is 23,976 so I am using SVCD TMPGenc template hihc is the only one for those fps. Is that the right thing to do, especially if I want the audio to be synch?
I hope someone can come back to with an answer.
    Thanking you in advance

  2. If the source of your files is downloaded then you may have bad frames in the video stream.

Check it using virtualdub and then remove them. Guides to do this can be found on the left.

You asked me to check for bad frames I have in fact 2 xvid movies that I want to put onto dvd and I have ran a bad frame check on both of them and none were found. I would really like to find a solution to this problem as it it only occurs with xvid files with divx files you can just save them as avi and wav files and encode them normally with tmpgenc but THESE my god they are a nightmare!
