  1. 1) Considering time is not a matter, which settings for TMPEnc under the "Video" tab would produce really good quality (the best if possible).

    2) Would enabling all the filters produce any bad side-effects, or would enabling all of them produce the best quality? Or maybe I should just enable certain ones and ignore the rest.

  2. Definitely without a doubt the CQ setting is the way to encode, although it is hard to determine a final file size. As far as filters go, I recommend using avisynth to frameserve to TMPGenc. They are more powerful and much faster.

  3. I agree CQ works really well, expecially with a high bitrate. VDub filters work well (if you don't wish to use a horse and buggy)* and the ones I have are faster than TMPGenc filters.

    *Just kidding - my fire retardant suit is at the cleaners.
