The mpg is probably not a standard compliant VCD.
Run it through TMPGEnc, using the VCD template, and then burn it.
Don't rely on your burner software (Nero) to convert it. Nero's converting tools suck.Cheers, Jim

I ran it through Tmpgenc and i got a few errors that stopped it from encoding and then i tried to run it threw vdub.. i got the same error as tmpegc which read:
MPEG: Anachronistic or Discontinous timestamp found in video stream 0 at byte position 4644(may indicate improper join)
MPEG: Anachronistic or Discontinous timestamp found in video stream 0 at byte position 6968(may indicate improper join)

Yes.
Open VirtualDub, and go to the frame exactly ONE before the first error.
Click the Mark In button.
Click the Next Keyframe button.
Click the Mark Out button.
Hit the DEL key on the keyboard.
Go to the next frame exactly ONE before the next error.
Repeat the process for all errors.
Save as avi.Cheers, Jim
