  1. Hi,
You:ve develloped a very fine program, I really love it.
But now I've a problem with my registration:

Hence my pc crashed (hd total blackout), I had to download the program again( I just backuped the registration-file). But the link listed in Your registration mail to me doesn't work any more (http://www.svcd2dvdmpg.com/svcd2dvdmpg/download.aspx?SerialNumber=XXX
So I downloaded the program from Your website, put the attached zip-file into the installation folder. But -it's a pity - now at the end of every mpg-file there is a notice that I'm just using a demo....

    Please help me!!!!

    Thanks
    Werner

  2. Ok Registration system has changed a bit now as well as using the xml file you also have to register it online and get another key to allow full usage of the program.
When you run the program for the first time you should be prompted to register.
Try downloading again via Your Users Area

ACK - I'm facing the same issue as werner. Althoguh I have yet to get around to reinstalling SVCD2DVD, I will be doing so in the next day or two. I also have an older version and the xml file (I purchased middle of last year) but from what I've been reading using the files I have will not stand to much of a chance installing properly....
Can you pass on to me what I will have to do?
    Thanks!!

  6. Haven't used SVCD2DVD in a while and just started the re-registration process.

Any guidance on how long the e-mail with the registration code should take? I got a "sending e-mail" message about ten minutes ago but haven't received an e-mail.

(Meanwhile, I need to head out soon and I guess I have to leave the computer on since I can't close the "Machine Registration" window...)

athers. You get that messages because you are not using the reg.xml file i sent you but one from a bogus source. Use the one i sent you and you will not get that message.

ok- that msg is only for reg.xml files containing certain serial numbers. It is not applicable to you and the one i sent to you. If you drag the reg.xml file which is in your SVCD2DVD folder into Internet Explorer - what is the UserName?

Just to follow up: Both the original send and Chrissyboy's resend eventually arrived, and all is now well. Now returning to lurkmode and eagerly awaiting a "Play All" function!

(Beware, Chrissyboy! I'm burning DVDs of my 2-year-old's favorite shows. If you implement "Play All," I can start a disk and leave him alone for an hour or so instead of popping in to change the show every 20 minutes. Future generations will hold you responsible for the damage to his psyche from being left alone...)
