Ok, I want to capture 1 hr. programs that I can turn around and burn to VCD. I would like to use Virtualvcr to capture. In that program, what resolution, video settings, and compression should I use if I want to fit 1 hr. of TV programming on a VCD? A lot of guides list the resolutions, but I haven't seen any hard facts on what format to capture into. Is the encoding to the VCD-complaint mpeg-1 done in-line, meaning will it encode it into a file that can be burnt right away? Or after capturing will I then have to encode to VCD compliant format and burn? Are there other processes that have to be done as well? Thanks.
