  1. Hello Guys !!!

I am kind of noobie in dvd problems,
and as some of us, i am facing an issue, a tricky issue...

A friend of mine gave me a concert recorded on tv.
it has been authored but i wanted to do a new authoring.
    it is a PAL dvd.

I have managed to do an m2v file and an ac3 file using dvd decrypter.
As the sound was too quiet, i wanted to change it a bit, I have converted it in audio to LPCM 48khz but i started to have CRC errors everywhere with Beseweet.

Anyway, i managed to obtain a 48khz wav and made my mastering.

    The real trick starts here:

when i want to author or mux my m2v with my audio,
I get an out of sync problem.
I have tried the solution listed on dvdrhelp
    https://www.videohelp.com/forum/userguides/140540.php

same issue with ac3, mp2, wav...

I can manage to have the beginig in sync
but after a while it goes out of sync...
and the gap becomes greater and greater.

    Well my question is:

Does anyone as an idea on how to solve this ?

A thought that I had was that the original dvd
was faulty as dvd decrypter sees it in PAL and
dvd ripper sees it in NTSC...

Plus, vobs have a strange size (891 Mb...)

Anyway, any help would be wonderful !!!!
Thanks a lot to all of you in advance !!!

  2. Your video is dropping frames, this was addressed in another post a very long time ago. If your original is in sync, cut it into small peices, at song break is good. Extract the audio and convert to wave with AC3Tool edit sound with Sound Forge and video with whatever, stick the sound and video clips together then join them all. It's tedious but it is simple and low tech. Don't reprocess, direct stream all the cutting and joining. Virtual Dub mod is good for that.

  3. Thanks docrhody !
I will try this today but the chapters are not
okay at all.... it is not cutting at song breaks...
but no prob, i will try it anyway !!!

another point, i tried w/ ac3tool to convert
again my audio and i always get crc errors...
seems that the entire audio is faulty....
but when i listen to it it is normal, understand no prob.

    will carry on !!!
