    hi,
    i'm a newbie at this, i never tried to watch a movie with .sub so i was wondering with what kind of softwere i can open this file...

    Send a message via MSN to mats.hogberg
    If it comes with an .idx, it's a Direct VobSub file, and is opened with the DirectVobSub filer. If it's just a sub it's a plain text file, and can be opened with Notepad.
    Some software AVI players can overlay this kind of subs automatically if they have the same name as the .avi
