    I have heard of TMPGenc having problems with audio.Can anyone fill me in on this.If it is so,what would be a suggestion to do about this?

    I don't know if you're referring to trouble with certain types of source audio or the quality of the audio output produced by TMPEGnc, I'll address both.

    TMPGEnc has trouble if the source audio is AC3 or VBR encoded MP3, it's best to convert these types of audio to wav and use the wav as the audio source when you encode. Virtualdub can do that but I prefer Goldwave.

    Some people are of the opinion that the mpeg audio produced by TMPGEnc is inferior quality. I think that may have been a problem with earlier versions. You can use Toolame as your audio instead, D/L it from the Tools section and install it. TMPGEnc needs to be setup for it under Options>environmental settings>external tools>layer 2 encoder.

    The quality of output,that is what I was referring to.I have the newest version of TMPGenc.How user friendly is TooLame ,is it pretty easy to figure out to use?Is there tutorials to help that you know of?I also use nero6 to burn. thanks a bunch

    Once you have TMPGEnc configured you never have to touch it. Can't be any easier.
