    Well when i author a dvd in like dvdit or something ....i loose the chapters its one big film...so if i want to skip to a part or something it just skips to the end....anyone know what i can do to keep the chapters.

    If your source is a dvd you can rip the chapters to a text file that you can import in some authoring tools, or else you have to manually readdd the chapters points.
