    I just made a dvd with it. Plays fine untill it gets about half way and I loose the sound why

    use mf2 all the time with no problems. I cap from ADS usb IDVD-2

    What cap device
    signal source
    settings
    etc
    etc

    Does the captured file play thru with sound?
