extracting chapter points menu-less dvd r

Have a "disc" (dvd r) which plays on insertion, and has no menu,
but the buttons "next" or "previous" skips to each of the 41 chapter points
So my question is, how can i "extract or use these chapter points,
for a menu, i want to add for this movie, i want to use DVDLab, or
TMPeg DVD Author to do this...

If you use TMPG DVD Author, use "add DVD video" option will allow import of chapter marks.

Thanks, i guess i partly followed your advise, i draged the .ifo as i would
do with a mpeg2 file but it then re-encoded... and i lost the subtitles,
(Dutch and English)
but got the (Enlish) sound (6ch) and also the chapter points got imported, i will now do the drag .vob style, i hope i now will keep the subtitles too. and hope there's no re-encoding....
Later i will also try the same with DVDLab, i guess DVDLab gives more
"freedom" designing the menu(s)
Or do i need a extra application for the subtitles?
