  1. I'm running a little short on HD space right now, and I want to burn som of my mpg-files to a DVD. My standalone DVD-player (Denver DVD-182) supports the mpg-format, and before when I burned data CD-Rs I could put numerous filetypes on one CD, and my DVD-player would still read the mpg-files even though I didn't make it a VCD or SVCD.
So my question is: Can I do the same on DVD? If I burn f.ex. 3 mpg files, 1GB each, to a multisession data DVD, will my DVD-player be able to read it, like it did with old CD-Rs?

EDIT: I forgot to say, when I first posted it that it's a DVD+RW I want to burn to.

I want to apologize for any poor English, as it's not my 1st language. And I'm also sorry if this has already been answered in the forum, I couldn't find it.

  2. i use an apex 5131, and it plays mpeg in iso data mode. however multisession on dvd media doesnt work for me at all - it simply renders the disc useless, i cant even access the files on my computer. Nero warns of this before burning when you try to burn in multisession. btw, i use dvd-r not dvd+r, but i doubt that makes a difference as far as multisesson goes. I have made several tv episode dvds that are in iso mode. the files are either vcd or svcd format, but i have also found that any mpeg will play on my player, it doesn't have to be complient at all, just be mpeg format. i can usually get 5-6 eps per dvd and they play perfectly.

    hope this helped
