    I ripped the movie The Core using dvd shrink and all of the files came out fine, but where the layer switch on the dvd shows up the movie stops and the screen goes blank. I then have to use the chapter forward button on my remote to get the movie to continue. Is there a way to get the movie to coninue playing seamlessly through the layer switch?

    Under EDIT- PREFERENCE- OUTPUT FILES: make sure Remove Layer Break is checked.

    That option is checked.
    For some reason the movie pauses like it would for a layer switch, the screen goes black, then I have to chapter forward to get it going again. Shouldn't the movie just continually play?
