End of Movie Glitchs?

I am using DVD Shrink 3.1.2 with AnyDVD and Nero6. I am ReAuthoring for Movie Only. The Backup is perfect until like the last 1 min. then I get a view Video Glitchs. I am trying to use No Compression on Most DVDs backup if I can. What could be the problem with End of Video?

bad media? most questionable media fail toward the edges.. try a different brand, or maybe a rw.

Or try playing the VIDEO_TS folder direct from hd to see if it only happens from the disc and not something in the transcode process.

I agree. Most times when the glitches occur towards the end of the flick, cheapo media is the cause. Princo and store brands that people buy in bulk are ok for data, but with video they suck. Don't skimp when purchasing media. You get what u pay for.

Stick with higher quality media like Ritek, Maxell or TDK.

I agree, average media is to blame.
I do two things now...
....I buy good media, Ritek GO4's, and limit my burns to around 4200mb.
Never had a problem since.

I did the same thing as you Will, and gradually I have been increasing the maximum I put on them, I started at 4200, then 4250, now I'm up to 4350 and staying, all movies seem fine and I can get a few extra % points for quality, Ritek G04's are the way to go. I used Memorex store bought and princo from online, sometimes work, sometimes not, not worth the headache.
