  1. Is there a library with all its functions descriptions so I could use it
to decode Mpeg2 files to raw RGB images?
I have MPEG2Dec3.dll but thats for complete DVD2avi projects.
Nice library would be the one with complete control over DVD in the drive)
But I think it doesn't exist at least for less adv. developers.
Doom9.net has a very nice source codes but they miss descriptions.

Have you tried looking at DVD2AVI's source code. I'm not a programmer, but it sounds to me like you need something that can open a vob directly.

  3. That dll that I mentioned above is exactly for DVD2AVI. Taken form dvd2avi source code. Works but you cannot open independent vob
You have to make a dvd2avi project and then open a vob project.
Source calls a dll library and that's it. I looked thru the code and it doesnt
acces any drive or vob file directly. But lately I found a source of that dvd2avi library. It's messed up - real code monster. Ech just waisted time(
