  1. just installed iLife 4, and when I launched iDVD it said that my mac does not have a supported SuperDrive (I have a external pioneer 106). It also says that I can work with iDVD projects but will not be able to burn.

    ?????????
    any patches out there yet??

or should I just use DVD Studio Pro?
that seems to be fine without a superdrive.
    (any FREE tutorials out there)

    thanks
    derek

I went fiddling around in iDVD4's .app package and saw nothing that would enable the BURN button.

When you make a project in iDVD4 then save it, you can open it in DVDSP2 but your theme comes up missing and any video you placed into a drop zone will look oddly placed.

When Toast 6 was coming out, one of its new "features" was to be the ability to work with iDVD projects (or was that iMovie projects?) but I havent seen anywhere how to do this...

As a side note, in iMovie4, you can capture fairly high quality video into it from your iSight cam. I tried that this morning, it was sweet! Now I just gotta learn how to use iMovie...
