Animated buttons?

I want to make the buttons interesting in a menu. for example, lets say id want to have a list of scene names, but the text would all be blurry, and when you select each other (not press enter, just have that one selected, hovering on it), it would phase to a sharp image of the word. and when you moved up or down to the next scene, that one would again shift back to blurred, and the one you select would be clear.

yes
i did this with having the same number of menus as selection links.
each menu has of course all but one selection blurry the other one normal.
the selection links are active links if you go to the next/previous so that the menu automatically jumps on. if you get what i mean
