I use a 2.66 MHZ P4 with 1GB PC3200 RAM running on an Abit MB.
I use a 40GB Maxtor HD on the Primary Master and a 120 GB Maxtor on the Slave (CableSelect w/80 pin cabling).
The Secondary Master is my Sony DRU-5ooa w/ 2.0f firmware., and the Slave is my Liteon 166s. I use AnyDVD to rip directly to InstantCopy 8.0.5 as "Movie Only." I burn with Stomp RNMax 6.6 to Ritek Go4 blanks.
I processed Pirates of the Carribean and Open Range (both long movies). All the processes go smoothly. When the finished product is played on the PC or on the standalone (Samsung DTS931) there is a bad video/audio out of sync problem. I have reprocessed both with both DVD2One & DVD Shrink 3.1.4 & burned the same way. Neither of those backups have the out of sync problem. I should also mention that I backup 100's of DVDs with DVD2One and/or Shrink and have no issues of any kind. The only problem I have encountered is with the long DVDs on IC8.
The only thing I have not tried yet is normal length DVDs with IC8 or ripping the Source to HD first with DeCrypter instead of AnyDVD to see if the sync issue is there.
I was hopeing that someone could shed some light on this issue before I go any farther?

I use IC8 on long movies only. Always rip with Decrytor to HD first. Never had an OOS problem.
