  1. I use VobEdit to demux VOB file to .M2V and .AC3 files.
My question is: is there a way to tell VobEdit to demux a set of VOB files (that are in a single folder) automatically without having to demux one by one.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

In the demux box there's a check box to demux the complete title set(all vob's in a vts)just check it.

  3. I have tried to check this box then click OK - nothing happens.
Can you tell me the exact sequence:
    1) Open the .IFO file ?? and not the single VOB file ???
    2) then select demux all (video / audio)
    Is this correct ?
I will play with this tonight and see if it helps.
It a real pain having to go thru 20 VOBs files to demux them

  4. I've got the same issue. I want to demux the vobs, but keep the demuxed chapters as seperate files. Everything I've tried, including VobEdit will demux the chapters into a single audio/video file.
Desperately need a batch demuxer as I've got I've got to demux over 250 home videos VOBs recorded on a stand-alone panasonic dvd recorder (because of non-compliant audio, reauthoring with just the vobs loses sound).

  5. Finally found a solution...

Using the /demux command line within DVDDECRYPTER, you can batch demux VOBS.

The target on the shortcut should look like this...
    "C:\Program Files\DVD Decrypter\DVDDecrypter.exe" /demux 0x80 0xe0 /files VTS*.VOB

of course this works directly from the DVD vobs, not from folder / files.

see the readme.txt file for more command line options.

    Hope this helps

    The Process:
Open VobEdit. Click the Open button and open the first vob in the titleset (VTS_nn_1.VOB. Click the demux button. In the Demux frame (the top one) tick the box that says "Demux complete title set". In the "Demux mulitple streams at once" frame (the bottom one) tick both "Demux all video streams" and "Demux all audio streams". This will iterate through all VOB files in the nn titleset.

The only way I could see getting around this is to create a new vob file for each chapter in the ripping process. Smartripper can do this for you. Then perhaps invoke the batch demuxing. I don't see how the batch demuxing overcomes your problem of splitting at chapter points unless you start with each chapter in its own VOB.
    If in doubt, Google it.

In my case, each chapter has it's own VOB.

Sorry I should have made myself more clear - Each chapter should be in its own VOB with a different name altogether - The reason why VOBEdit is merging them to one file each is because the names of your VOBs are continuous ie VTS_01_1.VOB, VTS_01_2.VOB etc and VOBEdit looks for continuous titleset names when demuxing. If you change the name of the VOBs when ripping to say 1stChapter.vob, 2ndChapter.vob etc then when you demux, each chapter will create its own video and audio file.
    If in doubt, Google it.
