After a year and a half of inactivity, some kind-hearted (Mac using) soul in Switzerland has stepped up to the plate, and started working on the source code to dvdbackup, the open-sourced CLI tool released by the DVD-Create team. It looks like some kind of progress indication might happen after all. This will have a big impact on the interface, and there might be some big changes afoot. For a hint of what's going on, you can go to this thread, and look for comments by geezerbuttz. Thank you geezerbuttz for using your lunch breaks from your day job to release these improvements back to the DVD-Create project for the benefit of all *nix users, and to us Mac users. Hazzaaaa! Stay tuned for more big news...

I like systems, their application excepted. (George Sand, translated from French), "J'aime beaucoup les systèmes, le cas d'application excepté."

Great news, WW. I haven't had a chance to try Hades yet, but wanted to thank you (and Programmer X and geezerbuttz) for your efforts. With DVDBackup & 0SEx in mothballs, we Mac users-- at least the ones of us unfamiliar with UNIX CLI stuff-- really need another good app like this. Cheers!
