    Awhile ago in this thread I asked for input on afreeCodec.com. I have gotten many replies and have added all the requests by the community. I appreciate those who helped in the process of development.

    Finally the site is now officially released. I would like to say thanks to our partners and affiliates; FourCC.org , Nimo's Codec Pack, IndeZine.com, and DVDRHelp.com

    If you are ever in a Codec situation, please visit www.afreeCodec.com. Any comments and suggestions are appreciated.

    great site idea and great site... but WHY OH WHY DO YOU HAVE PACKS!?!?!?!?

    sorry for yelling, but.. seriously.. why? Codec packs cause nothing but headaches.

    I agree, only install them as and when you need them
