Would it show up if you did a print screen?

    Try this...
....If you hit your 'print screen request button whilst holding down the 'ctrl' and 'c' buttons, the capture porcess is inverted and will therefore take a picture of the inside face of your screen, rather than the contents of your desktop/current loaded application.
We'll then be able to see a perfect image of the 'imperfection'.
It's something initially developed on the MAC platform.

I change my vote to take it back. I thought it was somewhere off to the side and could be ignored, but it's not...besides, you paid a lot of money for it.

I bought a 19" F/P and out of the box it had the same problem. I boxed it up and took it back to Costco, they replaced it no questions asked.
Got to love Costco for their return policy. Dd

That's nonsense. Your screen is passive, it's display only. When you print screen you are getting an image from you video card, not your monitor....

    Erm, okay, good one.
Yes, I noticed the bad manners in your post and chose to ignore it.
But sure, you knew it was a joke, of course you did, you're that clever.
From your unprovoked tone to my friendly joke it would appear you're still smarting from the time I made you look a fool.
Yes, you know the one I mean.
    Phew!
Thank goodness, I was thinking maybe you were just in a Shitty mood.
Wasn't that episode in the development of your maturity like two years ago?
And you're still carrying that around?
    Oh my!!!
I think I'll ignore this one but rest assured, I'll look out for your future posts.
    WH.

Thanks, I tried to phrase it all technical and such!
I would have preferred you to have said "...that's complete and utter bollocks", but never mind

    Did you return the monitor?

  17. No, because I had caused some damage (not really noticable, but nevertheless present) with my camera hitting the screen as i was trying to take a picture.

I believe I said this before.
