Have never had this problem with Nero, only with Sonic MyDvd ver 3.5 , the problem seemed to trace back to audio used by sonic.

    What are the file properties?
I also have NOT used Nero to author, just to burn

The player rejects the speed of the recordable disc in use. Has zero connection to the burn or Nero.

  8. I had been frustrated with this problem for some time no matter how and in what software I used to create my DVD's. When trying out the TMPGEnc DVD authoring software it choked on my MPEG2 files telling me that to be compliant they needed a sequence header before every GOP. I went into my encoding software and made the change and viola fast forward and rewind work just like they are supposed to.

Hope this is of help . . .
