  1. Hi often, I believed it's because of copy protection that VOB files on DVD has CRC errors which stops program such as DVD Decrypter, or Smartripper, AnyDVD, DVDShrink from reading the files. Is there any programs out there that ignores the CRC error and copy/ripped the VOB file?? Usually it's just 1 VOB file with a CRC error that prevents the whole movie from being ripped. As long as I can get all the VOB onto the harddrive everything will be fine.

  3. I believed that is so too, but I was wondering if there's program out there that ignores the bad spot and continue with the rest of the VOB file? Because often the VOB file is 1.2GB and just a small bad spot prevent it from being copy, which prevent the whole movie, which is a great nuisance. This file is VTS_01_3.vob. And if I played this disk in any DVD player or Powerdvd it still plays fine. Just that it can't be copy because of that bad spot. I need a program that ignores the tiny bad spot and continue with the rest of the file. As long as it's on the hard disk, it can be reprocess. Thanks.

  5. DVD X Rescue will recover troublesome DVDs like that. I have used it on several and it worked perfectly. Probably overpriced for most people ($50.00) but it does work.
