    I'm pretty new at all this. I have the first season of the Alias series. Using DVDXCOPY Platinum and only including the titlesets which contain the episodes (Titlesets 1 and 4 on disc one) the result is still almost a 7 GB filesize. That is too much compression for my taste. I want to rip out all the extra languages, subtitles, etc. in order to put all the episodes contained on disc one onto one DVD-R with minimal compression. If anybody has already done this, your help would be appreciated. Thanks

    DvdShrink would be what you are looking for i think. Or you could use dvdcrypter and then dvd2one to remove the unwanted soundtracks.
