  1. Hi

I realise this is not a DVD issue but I hope you cane help.

I have rendered a short video to MPEG (384 x 288) CD for a client and it runs fun on his WMP and on mine.

However he gave a copy to a couple of clients in France and they were unable to get WMP to play the video as it was asking for a codec it didn't have.

I am unable to establish the version of WMP they were using.

I thought this would be a fairly safe bet (MPEG) not MPEG2. Is there a Codec that I can use in Studio 8 that all WMP versions will play or am I whistling in the wind?

Altenatively is there a more universally recognised format I could use? (The MPEG is about 58Mb).

    Thanks

Windows media player should be able to play mpeg1 without any codec. Did you use mpeg1 layer2 audio? or some other audio?

  3. This was the setup in Studio - I don't really know much about layered audio.

    Cheers
