    Hey there,

I have already read with much enthusiasm some of the previous posts but has not helped me ...

    MANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN,

I also get the choppy display... i have a 25fps PAL DivX movie that i want to convert to SVCD

I use the PAL template in TMPGenc then save the Project file.

I use the VFAPI'd AVI file in CCE and have tried checking the UPPERFIELD FIRST and unchecking it????

BUT still no go the display is still choppy.

I dont know where to go from here... any other setting in TMPGenc possibly? or CCE ?

    The DivX playes perfectly.

    PLEASE HELP......

im talking about playing in software with WinDVD... region is not an issue here.....

I am using the usual method i use TMPGenc to set the settings for the movie then save the project file.

I then use the VFAPI utility to save the FAKE avi.

I load it up in CCE and set my settings as mentioned and encode.. what more do you need to know.

Have you tried using the de-interlace function in TMPGEnc before saving the project? I've only had to do that when doing some of the "extras" on certian DVD's, but it's worked wonders.
