  2. No player can adjust an audio sync error, you must adjust this yourself before you create the dvd.
    If it's wet, drink it

  3. "you must adjust this yourself before you create the dvd"

    im not taking about DVD's

just normal files like avi. Mpg. Divx and xvid encoded files...

there must be a solution for corecting the audio..
its not me that makes the files. im trying to see them..

like 75% off all the files out there are out of sync

  4. typically, two types of sync probs:

1 - progressive (gradual loss as clip progresses) - nearly impossible to repair.
2- offset ahead/behind by fixed amount - can be repaired

no magic bullets or single proggies to one-click and fix.

    suggest starting here:

  5. I am having issues with Media Player Classic (6.4) not playing AVI/MPG's with the video/audio in synch. At first when the video file starts playing, they are somewhat in synch, but after a while (or after advancing/fast-forwarding the video) the audio/video are WAY out-of-synch. However, Windows Media Player9 plays them just fine. Would this be a codec issue? I have tried just uninstalling all codes but what I need (xvid 1.0 - plus MPG2 codecs) but MPC still cannot seem to play them properly.

Not impossible, it just takes a bit more work.
