A few months ago I backed up a movie on a Ritek G03 DVD-R using a Pioneer A05 (DVD Decrypter, DVD2one (movie only), and Nero 551028). It plays great on every stand alone DVD player I have ever tried it on. It still plays great on stand alone players, but it has no sound when I try and play it on any computer. Sounds for everything else on the computers, but not this disk. I can copy it and have the same result – sound on stand alone, not on computer's. What could cause this to happen?

Your disk has AC3 audio and you need to install an AC3 codec on your PC. That's my best guess. 8)

Thanks for the replies. I have used computers with PowerDVD, WinDVD, MSI DVD, a Mac G4 with OSX, and a Mac G3 with OS9. I've tried computers with Lite-on, Panasonic, BTC, Pioneer and a couple of unknown DVD drives. None of them will play the audio. Yet the video is perfect and the DVD movie plays all the way through. When I put it in my standalone player it works fine. Could it have gotten too hot during playback or something?
