    Dear sirs:

Firs of all let me congratulate you guys for this GREAT forum..

I am trying to improve my VCDs using (as somebody suggested in this forum) the 480 * 480 template + normal vcd settingsthat means i am still stuck with 1150 bitrate). The thingis that the size of the movie turns into a letter box. Can anybody help me with that. How can you make it without distorting the final shape of the movie?

Best regards from Colombia south america

  2. I'll give it a shot. Are u using tmpgenc?? if so you can play with the settings>>advanced>>source aspect ratio.

Just a guess. set it to vga 1:1 and under video, set it also to vga 1:1 or 4:3.

  3. nope, its OK for the movie to be more letter boxed or streched in 480*480. the end result (if you play it fullscreen, or on your DVD player) will play as a normal file without the letterboxage you see during encoding.

  4. Like i said, just a guess. Checking back I should have said video arrange method = full screen (keep ratio aspect). Sorry.

    Thanks, Yeshi.
