I am trying to convert an avi to mpg file with TMPG, I get about 3\4 done through the file and then I get and error message saying "Illegal floating decimal point calculation order". Is this a bad file? or is it something I could tweak out with the settings.Thanks.Matt

There's a bad spot in the avi file. If you play it with media player the picture will freeze when
it gets to that spot. I use Virtualdub to get around it. Save the avi up to the error then skip to
the next key frame and save to the end. You end up with 2 or more files(if u find more errors).
Then I convert both files to mpg and join them with TMPGE mpeg tools.
