Capturing a live stream

hey, i am currently watching some awsome streaming episodes of a show i like from a TV network here in Norway (in 890 k/b) and i can anyone tell me how to download it (everytime i try, i just get a .htm), or how to capp the signal i would appriciate it alot!!!

well you would need a "packet sniffer" and this would give you the true url for the file you want to download. Their was an app called url snooper and it also installed an app called windows pcap (the newer versions of url snooper have the pcap with it). What this did is anything you did online (go anywhere, etc) it would trace the url. In your case you would start that, and once the video starts playing you would then be able to see the true url for it. Alot of times the media files are on mms type servers, and for those you need special apps that will download it directly from it.

cocsoft streamdown is one, streambox vcr, get asf, etc
