    Is it possible to add subtitles to a downloaded DVDR image? And how is it possible? Which program do i have to use etc.

    Yes, but it involves lots of reading up on DVD authoring and stuff.
    In (extremely) short, you first have to rip the main title, and remux it with the subs. The format of the subs depends on the authoring package you are going to use when reauthoring your DVD.
