I capture with ulead video studio 7 (aver tv studio card) in mpg2 and author the dvd in ulead dvd workshop. Playback on pc is fine but on my stald alone dvd player the video is jumpy (mostly when there is movement). I experienced the same problems with svcd and changing the field order didn't solve it. I capture from vhs or tv tuner using field order A. Is this the right field order? Some people claim that analog is field order A but some claim it is B. Can anyone help me?

It seems that in uvs7 frame B is upper field but not always so I have to check with some other programme (Bitrate Viewer) to make sure my file is top field first.
