...all the titles I create on a disc should be LINKED together when played back on a regular DVD player,...but I don't think that's the case w/the CH1500 .. granted i've onlyl had it a few days but I could swear that at the end of each TITLE it sends you back to the main menu and you have to SELECT the next Title to play- rather than continuously playing each one..
Has anyone else had a different experience w/the CH 1500? Am I doing something wrong when creating my titles?
(the above article is very informative for noobs too by the way)

It might be good idea if you qoute specifict section/paragraph that you are refering to. It is easier responde than.
Pinnacle Studio 8 and DV home video editing (ver.9 already home) -
Sorry ... here's what i'm referring to- the part about 'titles being chained when a disc is played back' ... I thought the CH1500 spat you back to the title menu when it finished playing the title, rather than playing the next title.... unless I'm doing something wrong.
Every new recording will automatically be asigned a new chapter number, and a new entry for the recording will be added to the index picture screen (see next paragraph). All titles on a disc will be chained, that is, when playback of a title is started, all consequent titles will also be played (this way, the behaviour of a disc recorded on a DVD+RW recorder is comparable to a VCR).
Each title can be divided into chapters for easy reference. This can be done automatically by the recorder at standard intervals (about 5 minutes), or the chapter markers can be placed by the user himself. When playing back the disc on the recorder or a DVD-Video player, one can use the Next and Previous buttons on the remote control to go to the consequent chapter point. While pressing next during playback of the last chapter will advance to the beginning of the next title, since all titles are chained together -
Mine plays 1 title at a time also.
The thing that disappointed me was the fact that none of my players recognize chapter markers that were placed into the recording. The recorder reconizes them. I even bought a cheap Cyberhome player, I think the 300, taking both the first and second one back for not reconizing chapters generated by their own manufactured products.
Still not a bad device for the $248 I paid after getting back my $48 back after seeing the price drop from $296.
