  1. The mixed mode cd with nero isn't really what your looking for. It will allow you to burn an audio cd and put whatever data files on the disc you want, you could put the movies on the same disc but you'd only be able to play it on your computer and if your playing it on your computer anyway what is the point in encoding it in mpg 1 stream when you could fit more video on if you compressed it with a codec like divx or any other one. Anyway if you still want to do this, I have in the past put the whole album in mp3 format along with the guitar tablature and band photos etc, I will just say it works good but the first track will be no music when played in a cd player, this track holds the data stuff. Hope that sort of answers your question.

  2. As hvr stated, CD-DA tracks are allowed for in the specs (i.e., White Book) and they must come after all the video tracks.

Any other way of creating a VCD (mixed mode, etc.) won't create a standard VCD (if even possible).

I'm not sure what authoring software has the capability of doing this.

    Regards.

  3. Hi,

I know that cq's VideoPack can make VCD with audio tracks. It works with still pictures for sure (Slideshow) but i haven't tried it with vcd.
