Wide screen problems

Hi everybody im a newbie but ive been learning alot from this site for a while now, and some of it is actually starting to make sense lol! anyways, when i burn a vcd, i use nero to encode and burn the movie. Now my problem is the original avi is wide screen, but when i burn it, it always turns out as full screen and the image is stretched vertically! So i was wondering if anyone can help me with this, id appreaciate it!

p.s. i tried encoding with TPMGEnc, and the wide screen stays but there is no sound

u need to decompress the audio in virtual dub b4 u put avi into tmpgenc
load the file in v dub, and set video to direct stream copy and audio to full processing mode i think, and save as avi, now u can put into tmpgenc
