    Quick question:
I've been using TMPGenc Plus for encoding to mpeg2 (usually VBR). With the wizard it's easy to see the estimated filesize on the last dialog box. But I notice that advice in some of the "how to" guides on this website recommend against using the wizard. If I'm not using the wizard, how do I get an estimate of the output filesize ?

Use a bit rate calculator. There is a nice one in the Tools section at left.
    Hello.

I was really wondering if there's a way to estimate the output filesize within TMPGenc without using the wizard...

You make your calculations with the calculator, then use the TMPGEnc main program settings to adjust your bit rate. Sometimes it requires using the unlock template to un-ghost the main programn settings. But that is how you use TMPGEnc without the wizard to estimate the filesize.
    Hello.
