  1. I can not open a DV2 type file in TMPGenc.
I have both VFAPI plugin showing in the Enviromental settings in TEMPGenc.
I have also copied the DVD2AVI VFAPI file to the TMPGenc folder.

    Is there something I've missed?

    Thanks for any replies.

You missed saying what the error message was.
    Hello.

  3. Sorry.

Using the wizard for VCD and press the Video button to open the DV2 file, no file is shown. If I click show all files and try to open the DV2 file I get 'This file type is not supported.' type message.

    Thanks

  4. Which version of DVD2AVI are you using?

  5. DVD2AVI 1.77.3
    TMPgenc 2.58

Both VFAPI plugins show in the enviromental settings and I've also tried different priority settings in TMPGenc

  6. Try and get hold of DVD2AVI version 1.76 and it should be ok.

  7. I don't know if things should normally work this way, but when i was having problems with TMPGEnc recognizing .d2v files, the first thing I did was try to adjust the VFAPI settings. When that didn't work, I unzipped/installed (whichever it was) DVD2AVI right into the TMPGEnc folder and viola! It all worked.

May be worth a try in your case...

  8. Did you install the "VFAPI Reader Codec 1.05"?

You are aware that you need to install the VFAPI codec before the VFAPI-applications can communicate with their plugins?
