Sorry.
Using the wizard for VCD and press the Video button to open the DV2 file, no file is shown. If I click show all files and try to open the DV2 file I get 'This file type is not supported.' type message.

I don't know if things should normally work this way, but when i was having problems with TMPGEnc recognizing .d2v files, the first thing I did was try to adjust the VFAPI settings. When that didn't work, I unzipped/installed (whichever it was) DVD2AVI right into the TMPGEnc folder and viola! It all worked.
May be worth a try in your case... -
Did you install the "VFAPI Reader Codec 1.05"?
You are aware that you need to install the VFAPI codec before the VFAPI-applications can communicate with their plugins?
